~christmas tree for feathered friends~

Sure wish I had the time this year to decorate a Christmas tree for the birds.
I had so much fun with this a few years back and wanted to share the ideas again.
Maybe I'll decorate a tree for my feathered friends in January! :-)

Here  are all the how-to's!

What we do is we put the Christmas tree out back a few days after Christmas, hung with the bird treats we make, like the pinecones covered with the peanut butter mixture, strings of popcorn and cranberries, suet feeders, etc to let the birds enjoy it.

Thanks for this, Cro. I love the idea of hollowing out the clementines. So pretty. I added some oranges to a feeder at our lot yesterday as I read that the woodpecker, oriole, cardinal and blue-jay love them. I have a cute little baby squirrel that was quite interested, too. Probably just nosy as they all are. I will decorate a tree for them in the New Year, too. Deb
